What your written estimate covers
Included
- • Material as specified on the estimate, in the quantity measured plus standard waste
- • Removal and disposal of the existing floor covering in the listed rooms
- • Standard subfloor preparation: flattening, patching, and re-securing loose panels
- • Underlayment or moisture barrier where the selected product requires it
- • Installation labor, transitions, thresholds, and reinstallation of base shoe or new quarter round where quoted
- • Job-site cleanup and haul-away of installation debris
Excluded unless quoted
- • Structural subfloor repair that cannot be seen until the old floor is removed
- • Asbestos, lead, or other hazardous-material testing and abatement
- • Appliance disconnection or reconnection, plumbing, and electrical work
- • Moving of pianos, safes, pool tables, or contents beyond what the estimate states
- • Painting, drywall repair, and baseboard replacement unless specifically quoted
- • Permit fees where a permit is required by the local jurisdiction
